Yasutaro Terasaki founded Terasaki Electric Works in Shikanjima-cho, Konohana-ku, Osaka City to start manufacturing and selling knife switches, distribution boards and switchgears

Started manufacturing and sales of knife switches

1926

Delivered switchgears and distribution boards for the modern Asahi Kaikan building in Osaka

1929

Relocated to Kasugade-cho, Konohana-ku, Osaka City following the expansion of the business

1933

Completed a new factory (660m2 of floor space) in Okishima-cho, Konohana-ku, Osaka City, and relocated

Delivered dead-front type switchboards for subway stations in Osaka City

Registration of the company emblem (left) and distribution board catalogue from that year (right)

Completed a new factory in Kami-mura, Nakakawachi-gun, Osaka Prefecture (7,500m2 lot and 2,300m2 factory floor space; 60 employees), and relocated (presently the Kami Factory)

Established Terasaki Electric Works Co., Ltd. in Kami-mura, Nakakawachi-gun, Osaka Prefecture (current head office location)

Received many distribution board orders for the Allied Occupation

Opened the Tokyo Sales Office in the Nihonbashi district of Chuo-ku, Tokyo

Developed and started manufacturing air circuit breakers (ACB)

First delivery of marine switchboard for the Maiko Maru built at the Hiroshima Shipyard of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries

Developed and started manufacturing molded case circuit breakers (MCCB)

Switchgear orders rapidly increased for the 5th planned shipbuilding

Obtained first certification from Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK) for ACB (A-1 type 600AF)

Obtained first type approval from Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK) for MCCB (TO-2 type 60AF)

Established Terasaki Electric Co., Ltd.
Formed the Terasaki Labor Union

Established Hannan Electric Works Co., Ltd. in Hannan-cho nishi, Abeno-ku, Osaka City to increase the production capacity of marine switchgear

Installed a revolutionary large capacity short-circuit test generator (No. 1 generator)
